Why CARF Accreditation
CARF is the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities, an international organization that promotes the quality, value and optimal outcomes of services by accrediting service providers.

CARF accreditation helps organizations improve the quality of services delivered and gives organizations a reputation that is beneficial to building a positive image in the communities it serves and among its referral and funding agencies.

The organization stands to benefit by the CARF seal of approval that is received after a survey when the organization demonstrates conformance to a substantial number of
the 1000 plus standards.
Getting Ready for Accreditation
Planning is essential for organizations seeking accreditation for the first time (original survey). Rienzzie, as an active CARF surveyor is aware of the existing expectations about the accreditation standards and the process of the CARF survey. Accreditation preparation services can be offered remotely, a preferred cost-saving approach used by most clients, using TEAMS or a similar communication platform. The preparation services sessions will be followed by a thorough review of documents such as policies, procedures, plans, reports and other related documentation including participant files, to ensure the organization is ready for the original survey. In case the policies and procedures, plans etc. are not written or need work, working in collaboration with assigned staff these documents can be revised or
written to conform to CARF standards.
